Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

speechdeen is operated by SPEECHDEEN TECHNOLOGIES, 2nd Avenue, Gwarimpa, Abuja, Nigeria (“speechdeen”, “we”, or “us”). By accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. If you use speechdeen on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity under your account. Do not share access, impersonate another person, create accounts to evade restrictions, or use the service unlawfully. Notify us promptly at nurudeenisah2008@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized activity.

We may refuse, limit, suspend, or close access if necessary to address misuse, legal requirements, security, or harm to others. We will seek to act reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

3. Wallet deposits and prepaid credits

Eligible users receive one dedicated bank account to fund a naira-denominated wallet. Transfer only to the bank account number shown in your Account area. A deposit is added only after our payment partner confirms the transaction; bank processing times and fees may apply. The wallet balance is used to buy speechdeen credit packs and is not a bank account, transferable balance, or general-purpose stored-value product.

Pack prices and credit amounts are shown before purchase. Packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Credits can be used across available tools and expire 30 days after the pack is bought. When you have several packs, we spend from the pack that expires first. Expired credits cannot be used or reinstated. Features and credit costs may change prospectively; the price of an individual generation is displayed before you start it.

No cash refunds: deposits, wallet balances, and purchased credit packs are not redeemable for cash or refundable by us. If you delete your account or it is closed, any unused wallet balance and credits are forfeited and will not be reimbursed, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If a creation fails due to a service error after credits were charged, we return the affected credits to your account; this does not create a cash refund. If a deposit is missing or incorrect, contact us with the transfer reference so we can investigate. This policy does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Content and permissions

You keep your rights in the scripts, prompts, audio samples, and other materials you upload. You give us and the providers we use the limited permission needed to process those materials, generate the requested output, store it in your account, and operate the service. You confirm that you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload and use your materials and that your use does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.

Subject to these Terms and any rights of others in your inputs or selected voices, you may use and download outputs you generate for lawful personal or commercial projects. AI-generated material may not be unique, accurate, or suitable for every purpose; review it before publishing. We do not guarantee exclusive ownership of an output or grant rights in a third party's trademark, likeness, voice, or copyrighted material.

5. Responsible use of voices and AI

Only clone or imitate a voice when it is your own or you have the speaker's clear authorization. Do not generate deceptive impersonations, fraudulent calls, harassment, unlawful or exploitative content, or content that violates privacy, intellectual-property, or publicity rights. Do not present synthetic speech as a real person's statement without appropriate permission or disclosure. We may remove content and restrict accounts where necessary to enforce these rules.

Our voice catalog draws on third-party services. A brand name identifies a voice source, not an endorsement or affiliation. Specific voices, models, languages, and quality can change or become unavailable without notice.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep speechdeen available, but generation may be delayed, fail, or be unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, or third-party capacity. We may update tools, prices, security features, or these Terms. Material changes to these Terms will be announced through the site or email when appropriate, and continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the platform and delete your account.

7. Deleting your account

You can request permanent deletion with the Delete account control in Settings. Deletion removes your speechdeen account and associated saved materials, including generated recordings. It cannot be undone. Download anything you wish to keep first. Closing an account forfeits unused credits and wallet funds without reimbursement, subject to any rights applicable law requires. Do not send further transfers to your assigned bank account after deletion: your speechdeen wallet will no longer exist to receive them. The bank account may remain registered with our payment provider, and certain provider or legal records may need to be retained for compliance; see our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, speechdeen is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or that an output is error-free, fit for a particular project, or legally safe to publish. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and securing permissions for your use. We are not responsible for failures caused by material you supply or by services outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly. If we cannot, disputes may be brought before a competent court in Nigeria, subject to applicable law.
